Question

Has anyone ever had ebc greenstuff pads fitted ? If so what do you think of them ? I had a set fitted about 2 months ago and find them totally s*i!e . I have made a complaint to ebc and iam waiting to hear back from them .I now beleive that ebc are suggesting that subaru use redstuff pads instead .
Your comments would be appreciated .

I had some once on my Type RA, not much dust but poor "bite" at any temp and when giving it large one nite i had them fade badly.
That was with 4 pots and Reddot grooved discs.
They were crap basicaly.

Used them on my Puma and was disapointed. So on a much faster and heavier car I've not even bothered trying them. I even tried red-stuff on the little Ford and they were rubbish as well!

On my Impreza, I wouldn't go for anything less than Mintex M1144's or Ferodo DS2500's

Think most people on here prefer to pay the extra for either Ferrodo, Mintex, or Pagid. Not many positive comments about the EBC.

I have tried the Ferrodo with no complaints and have recently had Pagid fitted which feel even better now that I've got the braided hoses on.

I am (along with a few other Plus members) testing the new formula break pads from EBC. I have had both sets on (red and green) now and the greens are not best suited to the Scoob, its too heavy and needs to shed too much speed, to be fair to EBC though they do recommend reds for Evos, M3s and Scoobies on their website.

The reds are bedding in at the moment so cant really comment fully yet but they seem at least on par with subaru oem pads whilst bedding in.

I will book mark this thread and report back

J
