sti7 brake disc problems

uncommon........speak to any "evo" owner (which basically uses the same set-up) about the symtoms you are describing and you will find it is highly common!!
we are experiencing the same problems with customers "sti7 & 8" that we have had for years with "evo's"!!!!!!!
currently testing some two-piece discs to try and solve it........

It is very simple, these brakes are designed for the japanese market.
In japan they don't drive, they are always stuck in traffick.
The brembo's are only for the looks.
Some time ago I had a conversation with brembo about their brakes for the evo's and Impreza's.
This is what they answered

two piece disks needed,and PF pads of the most aggresive material,these tend to grind out any disc wobble.Oh and if you intend to do any sort of track "testing" need to get some air ducts on.Alternatively do what any serious evo owner does ap 6 pots
