BK 299s - 4 pots - offset?

I'm after a set of BK299s in 18" for my 03 WRX, but am not sure of the best offset.
IIRC Huxley tried a set but they locked on the calipers (The general thought was that they must be too high an offset).
Can anyone with BK 299s and 4 pots tell me the offset they're using? (does Disco have 45?)
And yes - I already know that standard is 48-52 so please don't just repeat this info.
