Yup - black is the new gold
I have just left my wheels with some people who will turn them into a semi gloss/satin black colour.
Hope they will look good on my cool grey Type R !!
Pictures will be posted when I get them back.
Anyone else going down this route with black/dark wheels??

My original 16" wheels is already Black and mounted with winter tyres, main reason for the color is: I do not need to clean them.
The car is MY 99 in blue and the look is OK, but not as good as the 17" summer wheels in Gold

JZA it's between £40 and £60 per wheel +vat depending on if the wheels need any repairs etc. This includes doing centre caps, remove and refit of tyres, rebalacing.. not to mention beadblasting down to base metal then repainting them etc..
