I've just got some 17" Raceline RL7 wheels, I tried to fit them and they are rubbing the brake caliper. I have the Godspeed spacer in the caliper to take a 28 mm disc. Can I use a spacer for the wheels now? If so how thick can it be? How will it affect handling? Should I space the rears the same?

Any other idears also welcome

Paul

A spacer or shim up to about 5mm, will not affect things too much, although you may want to get longer studs, I have 3mm spacers and there's enough stud for me to be happy, anything over a 5mm spacer will really be a bit too much, and I would shim/spacer the rears the same as the fronts, unless you've got rubbing issues!
