I've recently had my car serviced and the mechanic has noticed that I've got standard wheelnuts on Prodrive wheels. Aparently this is a bad thing as the holes are tapered and nuts don't grip properly. He advised that I get some Prodrive nuts with a flange so they grip the outside face of the wheel properly.

The wheels were originally fitted by Bell&Colville who are a main dealer and should know what they are doing! When I went to Gatwick Subaru to try and order the nuts they didn't seem to think it was a problem either!

The question is, who do I believe, and if I DO need them where can I get them from (I've had a look at the Prodrive website and it seems to more style over content.)

Cheers,
James

So it looks like I need new bolts then. Hopefully the holes aren't knackered yet. So anyone got contact details for Prodrive?
