i currently have 4pots with standard discs and pads and they seem to be plenty powerful enough for my use i.e if i brake hard enough i loose grip and the abs kicks in. so if i get bigger brakes would i see an improvement or not?, or is it better tyres i need!?

asking because my discs are worn out and wondering what to replace them with.

Having cracked the standard discs, TWICE, on my old car, and gone through 3 sets of pads in 20k, i personally dont like the standard ones.

I have since calmed my driving down, but on one rather spirited piece of braking i killed the standard brakes in one go. Had massive brake fade for a couple of days, then they came back to life.

That was pre mega mods too, so prob only running 270ish.

I would definately get some better brakes, plus they will fill the wheels nicely
