Hi,

Does anyone here have experience of changing brake hoses on the scooby? Easy/difficult?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Ben

The hardest bit is getting the hose through the strut, when I did mine i had to file the lug down, cos it was too damn thick, hopefully they should have sorted that by now!
Apart from that, fairly straight forward!

Just one thing to look out for -

Even with the correct spanner undoing the hoses from the brake lines can be difficult, a day or two before you do the job get under the wheel arch and spray the nuts/threads with releasing oil.

Also - have a mole grips handy if things go pear shaped, they rescued me after the spanner rounded off one of the nuts.
