I already have the 325 mm kit with Girling(???) calipers.
Would I gain anything by fitting the Brembo calipers to this set up, and does anyone know if Ian does them seperately, and at what sort of price??

I reckon you'd only gain IF the Brembo uses a bigger pad, doubtless all the bracketry would be different too!

be interested to know as well as i have the same kit on my gti-6 and the pad area on the old calipers is a lot more than the jag calipers. which must make it more stable under braking.

Yes the Brembo kit can be fitted to your discs , You would need the Calipers and mounting brackets , pads and hoses , the performance would be better because the calipers and pads are bigger ,
Cheers Ian

If you are thinking of changing the calipers , brackets and pads , those parts you take off are no good to anyone on there own , so sell the kit complete and buy a new complete kit , that way you would get more money back towards the cost of the new kit.

ian just a couple more questions how much bigger roughly is the brembo pad area than the jag pads, and what calipers are the pads from they arn't anything weird are they just need to know what to ask for when they wear out.

The pads are the same width , but are about 20mm longer , they are the Brembo pads for the brembo calipers ?? they are not fitted to any other calipers. Cheers Ian
