Question

Ive having my p1 wheels repainted but i cant get hold of the paint code. I tried prodrive but they said that they are not allowed to give it out code ( as if it was nasa's secret info ) but give them there due they did say they could sell me a brand new yes NEW set of the same wheels lol, so does anyone on here know the paint code.
Thanks Joe

Don't know who you spoke to but we don't actually have a meaningful paint code for ANY of our wheels. They are not painted by a process that is replicable 'in the field' and the paint codes we have been given by the various manufacturers are not recognised on the paint schemes that bodyshops etc have access to.

We have previously had wheels touched up by www.wicked-wheels.co.uk with very good results.

Sorry just could not resist a cheeky reply...... have you seen the advert on the tv for one of the major paint companys ???? just take your wheel in the shop to be scanned and they will mix you a tin up to match??!!!
"Thats if you believe the advert of course"
Sorry can't be of anymore help........

Thanks Mike ill give wicked wheels a buzz. I spoke to a women when i phoned Prodrive and she also told me you cant buy the big wrc stickers for the side of the car because of copy right or some rubbish and if i did put them on my car i could get in trouble if you work in Prodrive could you please find out if she meant in trouble by her because i might have to get some stickers put on hehe.

I did a one point work for a powder coating company, We did on several occasions re-paint/coat alloy wheels.

I dont think it would be to difficult to find the code used for any piticuler couler.
