I have just fitted 4 pot callipers and Disks from a P1 to my MY96WRX.No problem with that.Picked up some pads today and have just fitted them,I have two questions 1)should there be a shim of some kind that fits onto the new pad.2)Where the b****y hell do these wire type clips go.Any pictures anyone please.

 

Sorry M8 no piccies but I changed my pads about a month ago from OEMs to Mintex. The original pads (fronts) had two shims between pads and pots. I think the rears had one shim but I can't remember. The springy wire thing holds on the two pad retaining bolts. The other flat springy thing is sprung between the pads and the retaining bolts.
