im probably getting new alloys shortly(oz super leggera, gold) and was wondering what tyres you guys would recommend as i have been offered different tyres through the shops

toyo t-1
yokohama 529
falken 512
goodyear eagle f1

any other suggestions appreciated

 

I have just put Goodyear F1's on my my95 (215 40 R17) and think that they a brilliant tyres! I havnt tried any of the others you listed so i cant compare,only recomend

 

EVO magazine did a High performance tyre test and found that the new Goodyear Eagle F1 were the best. Jap Innovations (Tuners of Impreza's) rate them as well. I'll be getting them fitted at the weekend and I don't like to mess when it comes to tyres. You can have the best suspension and brakes but the tyres are in contact with the road.
