I'm planning on dressing my 02WRX wagon with STI8 wheels, however I have just found out that they are 17x7.5 with a +45 offset. I know a +48 and a 215 tyre is clear and its 50/50 with a 225 tyre (depending on brand) but what can I expect if I go ahead with this. If I leave the car at stock height I guess it should be OK but will I need the arches rolled or pulled out. I guess lowering the car would out of the question too

What are your thoughts on this??

No problem at the front. The clearance betwwen the back of the raer tyre and the fron of the rear shock absorber is quite tight but caused no problems yet.

Do you have the STI7 or STI8 wheels? Any pics?

Thats what I've been told but the new STI wheels look further out than the bug eyed STI wheels. I'm still hoping they'll fit, I don't mind swapping the tyres for 215s

The wheels are from a bugeye STI. The tyres are 225. The tyres do stick out a bit more. I will replace with 215.
