Fitted to the front new disks and a set of Mintex m1155 pads.. stops much better now bedded in..
But when you apply light pressure to the pedal the drivers side front screaches... I put copper grease between pad and pad backing plates and where piston touches the pad.. and where pad touches back of the caliper..
Too much grease, not enough??
Someone?
Cheers

Good evening all. I am new to Scoobynet and have a 99 Impreza 2.0l Turbo UK spec for about 15 months now. I need to replace the pads all round. I gather some of u r using Mintex 1144's, 1155's and Ferodo DS2500's. What is recommended for average use? What about the expensive Subaru dealer pad? Advice would be much appreciated.

You'll probably get more response if you put up a new topic mate..
I have only run the standard pads and now these Mintex 1155's and the Mintex are better but not by much stopping wise.. but dunno about wear yet. They are cheaper than the Subaru pads but I did get 40,000miles out of a set of Subaru pads but 90% of my driving is on the motorway..
