Question

All,

Have been waiting for a set of these in 225/40/18's since mid December as a replacement for my existing rubber. Originally told there was at least a 4 week delay but I'm still waiting.

Does anyone know if/why there is a problem getting these in the UK? If they are available please let me know who has them so I can contact my supplier with the info.

Apologies if this has been done before but search did not bring up anything prior to me posting.

Cheers

WB

Don't know about 18's but Micheldever Tyres had loads of 215/40/17's in stock when I had a set fitted last week. Came to £402 all in inc vat for the full set.

I phoned up my local tyre fitter on Thursday last week, asked for 215/40 17, he said that he didn't have them in stock, but would order them in for me. They turned up with him the next day, and I got them fitted to my car on Saturday.

I've got just 4 225/40-18 Eagle F1 GSD3's left in stock at my Gloucester branch if that's any help.

The price for the set of 4 would be £440 inc fitting, balancing and vat.

E-mail me at john.price@protyre.co.uk if your're interested.

Regards

John

I just got a nice new set fitted today for £420 fitted inc VAT.
Didn't realise the Toyos had worn out as much, but now I have run-in the F1's it's back to the crazy cornering ability as usual.
