I have a set of drilled & slotted BD discs fitted, done about 6,000 on them, they warped abit at first but only noticeable when slowing down from say 5-0mph, stop pretty good to me, & upto now none of the little famous cracks that plagued the orig ones havent appeared

so do you rate the bd's then? How hard have you trested them as I am a bit concerned at the slight wobble when slowing?

Black Diamond disks are aparantly made by a company catted National Autoparts. They now sell the sport disks themselves and are avalible from many local motor factor and are much cheaper from National http:www.national-auto.co.uk

I have used Tarox discs on a previous car (mini racer) and personally wouldnt go near them again.. The standard OEM's were much better.

nicks,
using a set off mintex pads with them, the wobble is a slight warp created when trying to bed them in properly but you know how difficult that is, i think they are pretty good at stopping, but thats just my opinion, the warp has not got any worse at all so i would buy a set again, got them from demon tweeks catalogue & still no cracks appearing like the origs

thanks everyone. on prodrivelagacys advice I contacted national auto and purchased a set of their own cross drilled discs which were fitted along with Pagid fast road pads last night. 1000 miles of running in now and we'll see how they are. They look excellent quality though and the price via Transco was great.
