Alloys For Christmas 17"-18"-19"---
#1
if it helps, I'm going to be getting some TSW Reflex 17"s to put on my bright white MY98 wagon. At the moment I have some sad 14"s factory things with big FAT tyres.
My style is nothing too busy, and fairly subtle.
MAK Stingers are also quite simple 5 spokes...
[Edited to replace TSW w/ MAK for Stingers...]

What type of Scooby do you have?
I am in a similar position, I have a 99 UK Turbo and don't know whether to upgrade from 16" to 17" with 215/40 or to 18" with 215/35 tyres.
Any advice?

i wouldnt go for 19s. I have been speaking to a few people and most say 17s are the way to go. One person had 18s but didnt like it so moved back down to 17s.
Personally, i would go for the 18s though. They look very nice indeed

there's a good place which will give you an idea of what "kind" of alloys will look good on your car - www.tirerack.com
It's a US site so most of the manufacturers might be unknown, but the basic design philosophy is the same - it goes round and round and round!
Also, you can set up "garages" which you can save other cars and then fit them out with diff. wheels.
Hope that helps!

I've just gone up to 18's from 17's.
If it's handling your really interested in go for 17's, my car handled much better on 17's.
With the 18's on it tramlines, although the ride isn't as bad as I thought even with -45mm lowering springs.
Like I say though it defo handles better on 17's, but for me I wanted a better look
