Question

I'm refurbing a set of 17" wheels - so do I go for Gold, Anthracite or Silver??

Dave TS - I've got you down as being a vote for anthracite
pslewis - I've got you down as being a double vote for gold

I could even do them Blue........

I saw a P1 the other day with silver wheels. They were the original ones, just re-sprayed. While I normally prefer silver, it just didn't look right. It would have been better left as stadard IMHO.

So, I guess it depends on the colour of the car.

Gold wheels on the scoobs has to be the most tacky part of an otherwise great car, aside from of course the Bright switch IMHO!

must have gold ..why?

i believe gold wheels is impreza's trademark..

ie lexus lights on is200 (leave them there)

however you better get a good job on them and don't do them cheap and tacky

Depends on the colour. Gold only goes well with Blue or Green Scoobs IMHO. I have gold on my DBM Turbo.

Anthracite if you use the brakes at all and don't want to keep cleaning them.
Gold if you're a poser.
Standard silver if you're lazy.

Anthracite
Had my PD7's on the car for 2 years now (sonic blue MY00) and it still looks great definately better than gold or silver which are too common

Anthracite gets my vote!!!
(But don't belive this brake dust thing, you need to clean them anyway! Especially with the shiny P7's)

Cool

Just got net access back!

Seems to be fairly even between gold and anthracite - but I must agree that scooby = gold wheels.
Imagine being 80yrs old and telling my grandchildren I had a scooby with silver wheels - they'd think I was the most uncool grandad ever!!!!!!
I think gold will be the colour
