Phil, as long as the wheel runs straight ie isn't buckled across the spokes, it should be ok. You can buy repair kits from Halfords. I think that all you do is file off the rough metal, fill in the hole with metal filler, shape and smooth it off, then paint. Quite straight forward.

ps This wasn't done on a high speed morning run through Haile was it, trying to beat the Sellafield traffic?

Tggis is garry's damaged P1 Wheel, what do you think does it need replaced, a new tyre is on order.

Garry is attending the Bedford Autodrome day and should he get a new wheel before attempting a trackday

thoughts and comments please

Yeah I saw. You still didn't beat me though! You took off from the top roundabout before me and got to Blackbeck just as I did. I used to go that way but came to the conclusion its no quicker.

Doesnt look too bad. Would get someone to sort it out for about £50 but will mean taking wheel of car for a few days. Id definetly get it sorted before putting a new tyre on.
