Needed two tyres and telephoned around and the best price I could get was at Auto-Fit (01257 264404) in Chorley, Lancashire.

The size ohh yes. 205/50/ZR16 and they cost me £80 incl vat and fitting each.

You sure about that Tony ?

Their website shows 205/50/16's at £90.75 each, including VAT but excluding fitting. I may only have a maths O-level, but still reckon 80 quid all-in is cheaper

 

Oooops was thinking about the 215/40/17 but my local tyre place would have done those for me at 85 quid all in
