You should be able to get the discs off by just removing the pads, I know you can on the front cause I did!!

You will need to completely unbolt the rear caliper to get the disc off.
If it's 4 pot calipers at the front, you have to remove the caliper to change the front discs.

Mike.

Question

Did you get the rear disks off ? I took the caliper off and removed the wheelbearing nut, then beat the disk with a large rubber mallet. It still did not come off.

You don't need to remove the wheel bearing nut.

You may have to ease it over the handbake shoes though.

Yep-ive got em off now,beau2-dont touch the bearing nut, just unbolt the caliper from behind the disk, then gently ease the disk off with the use of a rubber mallet (dont forget to have the handbrake off!!),if the disk doesnt come off then pull the oval bung out of the back plate behind the disk at the bottom-this gives you access to the adjustment mechanism, wind it back the opposite way the arrow points a few clicks, and this should give the shoes a bit more play, you should then be able to remove the disk easily now, if your not too sure about doing this, it may be better to have a mechanic/competant person to show you first.
Hope this helps.
p.s its stopped squeeking since ive cleaned them --yippeeeeeeeeee

pps-also found shoes were adjusted too tight, poss cause of squeeking.
