been getting a very bad squeeling noise from the front near side wheel and noticed this morning that the disc has been grooved as well. Was drving past a Humphries tyre place so popped in there to get it up on the jack. The brake guy told me that the caliper has seized up and i need to replace it and also the hose but he said I should replace both front calipers at the smae time then said they were £500 each!!!!!!! Can i fix a caliper? or where can i buy a new one from for the less than £500! can't seem to find anywhere on the net.

the car is an import 95 WRX.

Tell him to take a running jump , he is telling porkies ! I can recondition those calipers for £75 each , and I doubt if the pipes need changing , You may need both calipers doing but it may just be one , Cheers Ian
