Which Brake support bracket?
Err, AFAIK, they all do the same job - prevent the master cylinder from moving and hence gives more play in the feel of the brake pedal.
For the record I've got a MRT job on my MY98. Provides extra feel through the brake pedal. Nothing else, does extactly the job I brought it for.

Fitted an MRT some time ago to 00 STi 6 Wagon.
Fiddly to fit but does not involve slackening brake pipes so no question of bleeding.
Do not feel it was a necessary mod and £50 + could have been better spent elsewhere,

Harvey - have you taken it off, or unscrewed the adjustment bolt?
I think it's only then that you notice what extra "feel" it gives you. But i agree it's marginal except under heavy braking.
Mine's a Scoobymania one - took me about 30 minutes to fit, would take me about 10 minutes now i know what goes where, but i think their's is very similar to PE's..

It is MRT or Whiteline. It was fiddly to fit because of other clutter. I have satisfied myself as to its usefulness on my car. May be more use on a car with lots of bulkhead flex.
It can go immediately to the first person who will send £50 including postage.
Have checked. It is MRT and I have the fitting instructions and a photo etc.
