Best brake pads for Alcon setup?
Plantie, I am currently using Hawk carbon-metallic pads for the last 3000 miles and also just did Elvington with them. (on my Prodrive/Alcon kit)
I am simply over the moon about them... DS3000 performance levels, but none of the side effects. Brake dust can be wiped off with a cloth, they brake when cold, don't seem to eat the discs. Very recommended.
I use this in combination with the DS2500 at the back.
Sorry, no addresses or part numbers.

Not DS2000 - they get too hot and leave pad deposition all over the discs feels like warping and can lead to it in due course, against that no squeal and less dust
DS3000 superb stopping power, but too much for road tyres - needs slicks really otherwise abs comes on all the time, plus loads of squeal and dust
DS 2500 all round good compromise.
I'm currently running 3000 front 2500 rear, but only use my car for fun.
