Brake cooling
#1
'ello all,
Anyone done or tried this?
I'm thinking of removing the spots and running a rubber/plastic/whatever pipe from the resulting hole to the brake area to aid in cooling.
Good/bad/indifferent idea?

Thanks for the link AndrewC, Scoobymania version is more like what I had in mind except for the mounting underneath. I think it's ugly and would probably get ripped off going over speed bumps and the like.

2 1/2" Santoprene or similar high temp flexible duct directed into the centre of the rotor is ideal. Avoid direct air flow onto the pad surface as it can cause warpage.
Check the bend radius when purchasing duct as some is not flexible enough to use.
