I decided to clean the wheels / calipers earlier, and soon realised that I couldn't clean the calipers fully.
Took the wheel off and bloody hell! you don't realise how big those calipers are until you look at them without the wheel in place.
Crikey they are huuuuge! Has anyone experienced brake fade with these yet?
I also noticed that in the front part of the wheel arch there is a ~1" vent coming from the front of the car. I'm assuming that the vent is to aid brake cooling Certainly didn't notice these on the my01 WRX.

Gulp, no pads left?
When I inspected the brakes I thought the amount of friction material was quite narrow considering that they are new brakes (775 Miles)
Do these brakes have the scratchy metal bit to alert about minimal pad

I have two track days and 6k done and still have loads of pad material, the leading edge of the pad is manufactured with a bevel that did make me think the pad was well worn until I had the wheel off.
