Has anyone got any answers for the pesky rear disc carrier/hub rust problem i seem to have. I have had them returned to silver at service just for the rust to appear through again in no time. Worse still i have just fitted 18inch OZ's with the prodrive brake upgrade which perform well but now look messy as the larger more obvious carrier is also rusting through the paint and is there for all to view through the shiny new 18inch wheels!!
Is painting the carrier's repeatedly the answer and if so with what paint to prevent the problem recurring?

Painted mine with caliper paint 2 years ago, still good as new. I also have godspeed discs which have a "gold" finish, which remains on the non friction areas and prevents corrosion.
