Question

Hiya!

I'm considering these tires in 215/45/17 on ET48 rims on MY00 Turbo, coupled with H&R coilovers.

I am a bit concerned that this may cause rubbing.
Anyone with opinions/experience?

Thanks,
Simen.

I think i'm right in saying you should run either a 205x45x17 or a 215x40x17 ! Hope this helps !

Thumbs up

Hi m8

Yep, you are right, but 215/45/17 is the closest dimension available for the RE540, so I don't really have a choice.
Except, of course, to find another type of tire. But I WANT these and BTW there's only about 2pct difference in rolling circumference from the standard 205/50/16.

Waiting impatiently for the Alcons to arrive
