Well my 2000 bug needs new brakes, only for road use, not the trackday. Stumbled acrosss those: https://www.ebay.de/itm/401014047739

MTEC Grooved and drilled with Brembo Brakepads. Any suggestions if I should go for them or get something better?

I'd look at Godspeed brakes, godspeedbrakes.co.uk.

set of discs and their pads suited me fine for fast road use.

I ran mtec on my bugeye. Drilled and grooved. Lasted less than 2 years with little abuse and standard pads. The grooves were completely gone and so were the drilled holes. They were also a bit squealy even after new pads, shims and pin kit. They performed ok. Going with Godspeed g hooks for classic build
