Default brake fluid

hi guys

heres a question

is there any advantage in changing brake fluid or is there any benefits from one to the other for normal every day use as I know some of the fluid is better for track cars etc...

can it be mixed or would it also mean a full flus of the system

thoughts please

As long as its clean and not full of debris and your brake peddle feels nice their would be no need to change it on a normal everyday road car.I purchased a brake fluid tester so I could test my fluids before and after trackdays and keep up on the fluids strength,as brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs water after time, and that brings down the brake fluids boiling point and making it less efficient. So me personally i just change it when it needs changing.SJ.

depends on age, over time brake fluid absorbs moisture.
