Hi can anyone pleeeezz help... Have 1999 sti had grinding coming from front replaced pads but old ones were fine although drivers side pad was scored bout an inch only around top of pad passenger side goo. New pads on but still grinding noise. Brakes working ok but any ideas why noise still there or why only the top of pad on drivers side scored? Also now abs light is staying on does this need reset after pad replacement? Thanx so much... Desperate for help my poor car is upset

 

Have you checked the abs ring and wiring are in good order?
Not sure about the reset to clear light but you can reset the ecu yourself.

 

How do you reset the ecu thanx

Check the discs aren't rubbing on the backing plates
