Default bbs forged 17" question

I'm looking at changing the wheels on my car as I don't like the orginally but still want to keep the 17" size and don't want to lower it. I know these wheels are rare and I know some members have a few sets. I spoke to jap performance and they say the wheels in the below ad do not fit over brembos on a blobeye 2004 sti. Can anyone confirm this please as I thought they would?

Thanks

They do fit Although be careful JPP get wheels refreshed to sell at inflated prices and the paint finish is very soft.

Thanks for the reply what threw me off was the fact they list them for a classic and I thought they were only ever fitted to blobeye 5x100 et53 and hawkeyes with the 5x114.3 ? Except for wide track blobeye
I see, was hoping I wouldn't need to have them refurbed but I suppose it depends on the tyre fitter.

They were standard fitment on the 17 inch MY03/04 STI Spec C and STI GL models so they do fit

thank you for the confirmation he said they would not fit because you needed a minimum of et48 to clear the brembos and as these were et53 they wouldnt fit. I take it no one has fitted a 3/5mm spacer with these and are just straight on?

thanks again

He's talking bs, the standard fitment for the new age STI is et53, no need for spacers etc.

not uncommon for people to confuse ET with the actual spoke design and clearance............

well they do fit so thank you for all the replies.
The only question i now have is are the standard nuts fine with the wheels and the standard locking wheel nuts? I still have the standard locking nuts so will have to buy some with a spinning collar as they stick out so much they would be easy to take off.
