Default Need new Discs and Pads, Stick with Brembo or Get GodSpeed??

So i need new discs and pads all round (the pads aren't warn but are rubbish and had to buy them as money was tight). I have been quotes for Brembo discs and Ferodo pads at approx £620 fitted.

Should i stick with Brembo or go for Godspeed discs they seem cheaper (£120 v £198) and people seem to rate them??....not sure if i need the 316mm or 326mm for my 2004 STi??

discs and pads are a piece of cake to fit, even for those without much experience working on cars, I wouldn't pay a garage £45 p/h to do it. I went for the godspeed discs and standard pads for day to day driving, and when I go on the track I will swap for track specific pad

Well it would take me more than an hour to jack the car up 4 times and fit 4 discs and 4 pairs of pads, so i dont have a problem paying £45 just to not having the hassle to do all that.

Do i need the 16mm or 326mm godspeeds though?

316mm are the rears and 326mm are the fronts. Go with Godspeed.

Thanks.

Next question, recommended pads., are standard Ferodo good performance and price match or is there a better bang for buck about?

if they are 3 times the price, last 3 times as long but work 30% better might not be as rich as you think

Well that's your opinion, but just because something is 3 times the price doesn't mean its 3 times better

http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/impr...ter-offer.html

Are these standard Kevlar pads good if im not doing track days and just normal use, i cheaped out on kevlar pads atm and not they've cause a sheen on my brake discs so the whole lot needs replacing really just dont want these kevlar pads to do the same again!??
