Default Rota grid drift wheel nuts. Which??

Just fitted my rota grid drifts and the guy I bought them from gave me these gold wheel nuts and they have done the job but imho the look a bit chavvy and the quality is poor and they stick out so far??

Which wheel nuts do you guys recommend and locking nuts too I need these ASAP!!

I use the standard ones and standard locking wheel nuts on mine, look fine and do the job. You need to select your socket with care though as some are a tight fit and could spoil the finish on the wheel.

That's exactly the problem I had! The socket didn't fit to allow tightening of the standard nuts. Is there a particular socket then that has less width to allow this?

Get some of these mate. I have these, and nice easy (and strong) internal drive too

I have the same problem, I had to buy a new socket wrench hoping that it was a bit thinner than the one I had, but it has still taken all of the paint off the holes in the wheels where the bolts go

Somebody else mentioned these but the rare rims ones are cheaper!

After a bit more digging around there are 2 types:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Tune.../230783137359?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2313445531...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Both from a reputable seller who is a rota supplier so just need to decide which ones and which locking nuts too.
