cheers so 18" rims will fit then. I will just need a lower profile tyre then to allow for the increase in the rim?

Hi there

Yes you can put 18" on the bugeye WRX,we are run on our wagon those sizes 225/40,235/40 or 245/40 R18 without the issue and sizes of wheels anything from 7.5J,8.25JX18 to 9.5JX18 ET38 or do we run 255/40 ZR17 with 9JX17 ET20

If you want to run wider alloys then I would suggest you will need camber bolts, coilovers as starting point

No usually any 225/40 will take 9.5JX18 alloys but this tyre will be stretched there

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura
