Anyone using the UniRoyal tyres? Rainsport 3's or similar?

Before the car gets put back on the road she needs some new boots. I'm in two minds at the moment. Given the time of year get a set of tyres that performs well in the well in the wet and ok in the dry or a tyre that's ace in the dry for mega driving and just except the fact that i'll have to take it easy in the wet. Would be nice to go with a performance tyre from a grip and tread pattern point of view because we all like a good looking tyre but ther isn't a substitute for grip!

Any views on the Uni Royal Rain sports? Oh cars expect to be around 500hp as these things do make difference!

Between me, family & friends we have Rainsport3 fitted to a fair few vehicles, mostly hot hatch though & they do a great job for a rain tyre on all of these.

The sidewalls are soft so give extra comfort to a road car, and the wet grip is superb.

The most extreme vehicle out of this lot that we have fitted these on is an A8 V8 TDI,
1990kg, 322 bhp, 480 lbft, 0-60 5.9 sec, limited to 155 mph. These have been on a while now and are still doing a good job, no complaints.

Hi there

I would go with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta,we run them on wagon which has run from 450bhp to 555.5bhp

Those tyres offers great grip in the wet and in the dry too have great grip

Hope this help

Just fitted RS3's to my 17"s as a 'winter' tyre. Perfect so far, nice and soft and give you plenty of confidence.
