Default wheel spacer possibilities

Hi i have searched but not found an answer. I have just brought my second scooby a 07 spec d after 9 years with my v5 sti.

If i was to fit 10 or 15m wheel spacers would i need to change the studs? Car desperately needs wheels moving out. Will get alignment done after. Any one fitted spacers?

On my classic I fitted hubcentric spacers (15mm) and the original studs had to be cut down to allow the spacers to fit.

I was told if you go 10/15mm then hubcentric spacers are the best way
