My 03 sti failed yesterday on front brake balance. Pads are less than a year old. Any tips on what to look for ?

 

sticking pistons on one of your calipers would be my guess bud. you could try bleeding them but a refurb might be on the cards. its not so common on brembos more so on the subaru 4 pots but i have heard of it. did the pads have uneven wear?

 

Hi thanks for the reply. The pad wear was in fact very even. The car only gets out a couple of times a week as I use a van for work.
Just wondered if anybody had similar problems ?
