I recently bought XXR 527 wheels I've been told by a friend who had bought them before that I'd need tuner nuts (the ones that are undone inside instead of outside) so that they fit - is that correct or will my D2 spec nuts be okay?

Any links would be greatly appreciated ideally black nuts if I have to buy new ones.

 

had the same problem with mine d2 nuts no good. you need the thinner tuner nuts that you use a key with instead of a brace

 

He's correct - you do need tuner nuts.

Thanks guys! excellent Ste will those be fine to use? I'll order them just now tyres arrive Tuesday and having them fitted to the car then so hopefully I can get the nuts here for then haha

 

Yeah mate, they are the same as I've got (mines not black though) and i've got XXR 527's also
