Since upgrading to 17 superT's with 215/40/17 toyo t1s tyres I get a nasty vibration kick in at about 80mph. Kwick fit have said the tracking is spot on. Any ideas????

 

Wheel balance is the next obvious one to look at. Don't trust just one garage, their machine might not be calibrated properly.

It's taken a couple of attempts in the past for my wheels to get balance right after replacing the tyres.

Sounds like wheel balance. I've just had my tyres changed and have the same problem so I'm taking it somewhere else to get them chcked again.

3 attempts by 2 dealers to sort out the balancing on my MY01, so i took dealer 1 who said his machine was spot on (Twice) to dealer 2 while he checked the balancing out and he proved that each wheel was around 30grms out.
Dealer 1 paid the bill for dealer 2 to correct.
My balancing was only out between 65 and 75 and dealer 1 thought i was being picky taking the car back more than once.
His face was a picture once he was proved wrong

Interesti8ng i've just had my MY01 wheels with Toyo's on rebalanced for the third time. If they need doing again i'm ring Toyo.

Anyone else had the same problem with Toyo T1's ?
