Default Injector Guinea Pig

Don't suppose anyone has heard of fiveomotorsports.com?

I've been looking for a set of 550cc side feed injectors for less than the new price of £600 from lateral performance. Someone mentioned that they often have reconditioned injectors for around £300 but I didn't get a response from them.

Found this company Fiveomotorsports who seem to have a good reputation on the American forums so I've order a set that they have for sale. Reconditioned, flow tested and matched JECs 550cc side feed phase 2 injectors for $364 (£230) including delivery. They're even happy to mark them suitably so I don't pay import duty and VAT

I thought the price was good, well good enough for me to try them. Will let people know what they're like once I get them in the car and mapped on the P1.

Chris

PS. If anyone didn't see my other post, I'm going to be at HDC Subaru all Thursday so if anyone lives in the area and is bored pop over. My car is going to be in pieces most of the day so I'll be bored

They're nearly here.... Parcelforce have then listed as 'clearing customs'

I've arranged for them to be flow tested on Friday to make sure they are ok since they have come from somewhere that people haven't used before.

Will also have a set of 440cc phase 2 side feed injectors to sell with a flow test certificate once they come off the car. What is a reasonable price?

Thought I best update this.

Injectors arrived fine, took 2 weeks. Paid £15 duty to Parcelforce. They look like modified Nissan injectors as confirmed by Mark @ Lateral.

Had the injectors fitted and car mapped, duty rate is low although I'm only running 328bhp. Planning on running 20% meth once I fit the FMIC and can get it mapped again. That should test the duty rate a little more.

So I recommend Fiveo Motorsports for injectors

Hi Chris
Am in the same boat as you were at the start of this thread, how did you fair out since? would you still rate fiveo and are you happy with results?
Thanks in advance

Yes their service was great. Injectors are still spot on. Running 357bhp without any problem, plenty more capacity in them as well.
