Default Ferrari Experience

I'm booked on a Ferrari experience at Silverstone tomorrow, I'm really excited but just thought i would ask you guy's for any advice or tips that would help me enjoy/ get more out of the day.

The day consists of a warm up session in a New Megan followed by the 360. This will be my first time on a track so should be interesting.

just a couple of tips to take with you on the day are.
no1.you will more than likely have someone in the car with you telling you what to do.so just incase its a women teacher, were a really nice smelling aftershave so that it makes her want to eat you alive.
no2.from the second you step into the car just keep thinking that you have paid for this day with your hard earnt so you need to make the most of it.so as soon as the guy/girl says go then you floor it and drive it like you just nicked it.
no3.next time you think of booking a ferrari day, dont.give me the wad of cash and i will fill my car up with juice and take you for the drive of your life.
last but not least, just get out there and have some fun.

Ive been on 2 of these driving days now, first was (4 laps in each) lotus elise, subaru impreza STI,porsche carrera 4 and a ferrari 360......only car worth talking about was the ferrari, bloody brilliant.
2nd was a ferrari F430 and a lambo gallardo spider, ferrari was good but the lambo was in another league, noise, power, handling etc absolutely loved it and well worth the money to drive cars you just cant afford to buy
have a look on www.driversdreamdays.co.uk loads on there.
Will say though because theres someone out with you you cant see what the cars full potential is because they definately hold you back

, If i can make it to a MMM i would very much like a passenger ride in your car although this was an un wanted birthday gift so it came at no cost to me.

Going to try and get a go in a KTM Xbow also.

There is no way they are going to let you drive it properly...

So just pretend to be deaf as soon as you drive a "decent" car

dunx

P.S. For free I'll come round and show you just how good your car is....

If they are being too strict i will engage selective hearing on the last lap.

Quick story... a mate did a Lambo "trip" only it was on the road !

The instructor said leave the next roundabout in 2 nd gear and short-shift into third...

So he did and within 3.5 seconds he was doing 160 mph ! ! !

Then the blues came on and he pulled into a lay-by.

Two cops got out and walked up to the car.

They asked for the keys, and went for a blast themselves...

LOL

What a day!!!

Well worth the money and i would recommend it to anyone at my level(no track experience).

The Ferrari was stunning and handled well even at the hands of a pretender like me. Although i have to say i was not blown away by the power, it just didn't meet my expectations really but that could have been down to me building it up in my head and expecting it to be savage. The brakes and steering more than made up for it when it came to the corners.

One thing i have learned is that owning a fast car does not always mean you are able to drive it fast and keeping on the correct line while braking and turning in is tricky to say the least.

Overall it has left me wanting more

Will get back to you once deals are done...

You should take your car to Blyton, restricted number of cars on track, and so much fun learning what your car can do.

Ome time I boiled the brake fluid and found myself with the pedal on the floor at 85 mph heading into a chicane just had to turn in and hope...
The car made it round comfortably ( the driver didn't - PARP ! ).

Next lap I hardly braked an just turned in

You wouldn't know quite what they are capable of till you get it ( slightly ! ) wrong, somewhere reasonably safe.

IMHO

dunx

P.S. Sure it wasn't an MR2
