no he's even madder.my car has just gone to scooby heaven i'm affraid.i had enough of being off the road due to companys not being able to do there jobs properly,so i started to break it last week and sell it off in bits.i have bought another though if you have a look under "here she is" theres a few pics of it.p.s welcome to scoobynet.

debs,did you take the car to AET,if so what did they say about it.a lot of us are using andrew carr for mapping now.he is from preston but does travel over this way quite often mapping cars.he could tell you what the problem was and give you a good idea on how much it will cost to sort out.

yeah i did didnt get much joy frm em they said it could be all sorts which didnt help wasnt impressed that they said 1 price n wen they had dun was diffrent they took my boost valve off n said was knackered.then said they didnt know what was up wi it as they dun have equipment to tell em what wrong how do i get in touch wi andrew

What year car is it? STI? You could find some who could lend you a MAF sensor, I would guess at that or an air leak...

 

hi m8 its a 97 wrx.is that the air flow meter?getting fed up wi it nar getting embarrising wen u put your foot down lol

 

Could be the boost solenoid? common problem on the classics, I've had two on my '95.

hi i have tryed that one apparently mine isnt connected as it got a manual boost control valve
