Default water, water, everywhere!!!

Well not quite but had first real problem yesterday, while doing the school run I spotted a trickle of water under the O/S front corner, I'd previously noticed a few spots of coolant on the inner wing but couldn't see where it was coming from. Anyway going from the school to the supermarket in town the trickle became a proper flow and while not overheating I topped up the coolant and went home to investigate. I found a split maybe 30mm in the top of the plastic rad end cap, I removed the rad to see if I could bodge it up till I could get a new rad, I tried plastic welding the crack then applied a layer of JB weld filler/adhesive this improved things but it's not cured so we won't be risking the trip to the Rising Sun show as I can't get a new rad before the weekend, it may be OK as it's now just a week of coolant but it's not worth the risk.

P.S where's the best (cheapest ) place to get a new rad?

Hi Gary
No not tried anyone really, I hadn't thought about getting it fixed as it looks like the plastic end cap as kind of perished lots of little micro cracks that have developed into a leak under pressure, so really the only way to fix that would be to change the end cap.
I have just found a some on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Subaru-Impreza...item35a86989b2
so I think I'l be ordering one of those can't go wrong at £55 delivered.
Only other thing I'm considering is one of these alloy ones
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...item51927e38f4
£60 more but is it worth it ? do Imprezas have serious overheating issues on the OE rad?
