Hey bud

What ecu have u got in? If it`s a Subaru one, i have a code reader that should be able to tell us what the code is, using EOBD.

If its an Apexi or similar, then there should be a way of getting the codes out but would have to check how.

Just a thought though, if i remember correctly your engine is out of an STI8. When they did the conversion, did they use the STI8 wiring loom and ecu or did they splice the wiring to match the engine to the original loom and ECU?

If it`s the latter, then it`s possible that the light will be imposible to turn out due to the small differences in engine sensors compared to the origanal ECU!!

thanks jimbob as far as im aware it was a full 54 sti8 that had been rear ended? every thing look okey cokey! all the wire looks like it was in the car to begin with so i would imagine they used the full loom?? as for the ecu, its standard as far as i know. it has the eobd socket under the steering wheel ive defo seen it though lol. jimbob thankyou very much for helping me out i owe you a drink at the next meet.
