Yup, one mostly careful owner. Never tracked. And only gone through the one dry stone wall - backwards

we got there in the end......

Well done mate... great stuff.

Plus.. as you watched me spin gracefully through said wall and kindly followed me home afterwards (mostly) then you do know it's history very well...

The beauty is...you do know it wasn't tracked too (I'm not counting the SMACS raceway oval....)unless you count the Dales & Moors as a track?

Must admit, I'd considered this myself a few times. Having driven it I know how good a car it is. At least in your hands it might see some proper abuse now Get to Cadwell

There is a tinge of jealousy..... This will no doubt increase when he brings it round for me to ogle....and drive... just for old times sake...

I'm glad it's now sold as it was sat there for a while. I'm more pleased it's gone to someone who knows and and will do it justice.

It is a track car, but as it was my daily drive and my P&J, I could never trust Blyton. I would have done Cadwell etc, but the chance never really came around for me... but the Dales and various runs we did were a good substitute....

When I sold it....

Power was by Ecutek and 330/335 (299 on simple 95 UL as I found out at the Clinic)
Suspension is the T25 handling kit:
Fully adjustable AST top mounts all round
Uprated ARB's both ends
Whiteline drop links
Anti-lift kit
Powerstation fast Road Setup...

Standard STI brakes with braided hoses....

Engine has the addtional 'Track pack' (yes, I know! ) which is the Spec C Oil Pump and radiatior and the Spec C fuel pump

The original Litchfield concept won several tuner awards (as well as the time attack series) and the T20 & T25 variants have been widely acclaimed in the press for their handling and over all build and balanced package qualities.

TBH, I think they (the T brand) are simply the best complete aftermarket packages available. The new T20 is getting some great reviews already. Though that's not difficult considering the poor base to begin with. But considering the original T20/25 was based on the very good JDM STI, then it shows how good a job Litchfield and powerstation did.

Top car, top top car.
If I was going to get any car and not mod it in any way it would be a Type 20 or 25, they are a real drivers car sraight out of the box, can't wait to see it in the flesh.
Did I mention I think it a fab car?

I'v hear that people who own these cars and then sell them at a later date, some times when they see them again wish just a little bit that they still had one.
I might be wrong

Well bought Bud

I have the, "been there enjoyed that" (in most cases) attitude to most my old cars, albeit I would love to see one of the many mkI's and mkII escorts I had in the 80's.

Al, I think we should swamp Si's house, reminisce over a beer or 5 eat curry then get him to drop us off as he will be wanting to drive it a lot, 2+2 = T20 taxi rides for free

Disclaimer:- Si, I am being deadly serious, stock the fridge, get the takeaway on speed dial, and fuel the car

That son, is the best idea you've had in the last 2 hours. The one before that involved a fairly decent dirty mind and Jackie.

Si. Mick has spoken. Listen to the man and sort it.

Additional: I also need to hear the speakers.....

It was mate. It's been there since I swapped it for the 335....

To the 335's credit, I still class it as probably the best car, pound for pound, that I've owned. Just had an excellent spirited drive back via Normanton from Xscape....

Will get something sorted . . .not sure about the driving part, but beers and a curry sounds a top idea
