Headers blowing, I know they were cheap
Then immobiliser is doing its job too well, I think
. Engine won't turn over or bump off after a 360 spin, but no bump or contact with owt. 360'd it many times b4 so who knows, not me

Not as many as put names down, enough though. Weather was sunny and dry but track was very slippery
due to dirt etc. The wind was f*cking freezing, soon warmed up in cars though

Well, The Last Blast is over, and a bloody good day was had by all. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came not only today, but to all the previous Blyton days. Although I thoroughly enjoy myself on the day, my main pleasure throughout has been watching everyone else enjoying them which has made me very proud over the last five years. There is a glimmer of hope that we may be able to continue, but I'll have to wait until Howard makes his decisions. I think I am right in saying only one person has attended every one, and as organiser I'm ashamed to say it isn't me. Sticky has been ever-present, enjoyed every single one, and given us all plenty of laughs at his expense, so hats off to you Andy.
I'd also like to say thank-you to the WYIOC for their kind gifts today in appreciation of my arranging the last eleven Blyton events. I'm not sure CG will allow the brilliant picture above the fire, but it will be going above my desk in my study. I'm already enjoying a glass of Whisky as I type this, and the Vodka is in the freezer in preparation. If anyone wants to call to share a glass over the next few weeks, feel free.
As for today, the turnout wasn't quite what I had hoped for, but a good day was had by all. No serious damage, a few breakdowns and thankfully, as always no injuries. The track was dry and the sun shined all day, but foo me it was bloody freezing
The grass-track racers had left a lot of mud and dust on the track leaving some treacherous areas early on, but when it was dispersed around the track by us lot it became tricky everywhere
Who said you can't drift a FWD car
Thanks again, and maybe we will do it again sometime.
