Wheel Dilemma Over - Ramble/Pics
For all who contributed to my wheel dilemma thread, a big thank you and here finally are the results of weeks of paint mixing, sample cards, matching to other wheels not to mention all the days spent trying to get hold of a set of the damn things in the first place.
Found a set on ebay:

Day after I bought the ones on ebay, a mate of mine found these:

They are brand new and were found in a store room thus put on clearance at half price.
But needed to get em painted gold, not as easy as you'd think. Another Scoobynet member made me up a paint sample card which he was pretty sure was the correct Speedline Gold for the year of manufacture. Just needed to compare it to some wheels to check! Thought Colins car was a good candidate to match too.....with the help of Mark (TurboTurner) at the Mcrae Gathering. Plus a dozen other sets of ST2's to choose from.

Colour was super close to a BBS 22B wheel as you can see. So borrowed one to photograph with a Spectrometre to get the colour make up.

After tracking a company down in Leeds that would be able to mix it, at a price of £52/Lt
I got the rims dropped off at the powder coaters to do their magic.
A week later and they looked superb. 3 layers of Poorboys Wheel Sealant and some tasteful stickers later they were ready to fit.

And here are the final pics. My advice, "if a jobs worth doing its worth doing it OCD style"

Thought it'd be rude not to splash out on some hardcore Rays nuts
Hope ya liked em?

Yeah I was but I'm in no rush, if the right money comes I may do but its up at RE Motorsport getting the little problems sorted and after going to the Mcrae Gathering it changed my mind, how could I get rid of the car that brought me to this community?

Wow guys, thanks for your comments. Made all the effort worth while.
Good times indeed Jubby.
Rich, wheel dude is 'the wheel specialist' in Garfoth.
Mark, your welcome anytime, just drop us a line when you want to come up. Can't have the wheel back though I've made it into a feature coffee table.
Looks mint in my living room.
