Mate, I drive my car, I don't stand around polishing and aint involved in any cliques, I have a blast out with the Evo lot and the Scooby clan from time to time.....so Im a run-out ho ....I actually pretty much hate any type of static shows/events, not my cuppa tea.

I don't know what has happened with this fella and anyone else but tbh it aint my business, I think its kinda sad when petty squabbles occur...over fvckin car clubs

I only said the kid seemed sound enough and was asking a few questions about my motor and seemed interested, I can only judge him on what he said etc.

Hello all...

Firstly, thank you for those who have welcomed me with an open approach - and not to be simply brain washed by heresay.

As for going back to NYSOC - no, I have not gone back to them at all. As with the likes of all the others who left NYSOC, I too discovered how shallow they are in particularly 3 individuals including the Club Chair. I am sure a Davesti350 will agree with me who I believe is a member on here. He I understand was banned by NYSOC through a silly vote instigated by their club chair who sent PMs and Texts messages to many people asking for Dave to be voted off. I was the only person who went against them on principles as I did not know of Dave at the time.

Could I also ask you to see my introductory post with the pics. The third pic where it has been "whitened" out by NYSOC so that my car would not been seen - how childish is this? A few weeks ago the club chair called me an asset to the club since I had made so much efforts in playing my part including getting a club sponser on board. However, as soon as I challenged them in the way the club was being run they (club chair and her two chums!) turned nasty. I am sure some of you may have heard how the club is dictated by one person in particular - the very person whom so many people only a few ago months left and have their own club now. I only wish I had listened to their warnings in the first place about NYSOC! I personally was witness to the club chair saying how they are only interested in the money part of it. Two other members of NYSOC have also refused to re-new their membership due to the behaviour of the way the club is run.

Chocolate - in answer to your question, yes I got banned around 6 odd months ago from here, but no where else that I am aware of. If you look at the link, it clearly shows me putting up my personal views - surely this is a free country to express one's views? By the way I understand you no longer are a member of NYSOC....any reason as to why??

Please do not judge me unless you know me - if you are simply going to believe what the Surrey (don;t even know anyone in Sussex crew!!) Scoobs say then it seems you are easily led. I am here to enjoy and share views hopefully relating to scoobs. One of the reasons I no longer want to be associated with NYSOC is the political drama they are causing for themselves. How many people have left NYSOC in the past year should be the question people should be asking. I am sure you are not perfect yourself but I am not here to argue on that, but simply to put down my side of the story. If you have made up your mind (of it has been made up for you) then surely why are you responding in this thread? Is it not true you fell out with NYSOC.. and got banned from there? Did I critisize you on that? No I believe. So why not give me the opportunity rather than simply believing what people say. FYI, non of the Surrey Scoobies have ever met me, so for they to judge me is baffling.

One of the reasons I did not post on this forum is I wanted things to calm down since I understand that the NYSOC forum had been busy as usual, stirring crap! Furthermore, I have also been busy sorting my scoob which has under gone a few "horses" transplant.

For those like JimmyBFC, bulletproofbob, bullittlynz, flx thank you for atleast having an open mind. I merely put up a decent introductory thread without slagging anyone off (incl. NYSOC) and the reason for the above is to show that "COB" needs to stop listening to people and make up his own mind when he actually knows an individual. I am well aware the "other" forum side is led by one particular person and I hope you guys will see through all the political drama which I think is unnecessary and uncalled for. I have made a few good friends in York who will and have defended the criticisms made made by the club chair...but then again the club chair has criticised this club and many others....except for her self.

Chocolate - I would ask you not to look at the past, and instead show your kind and friendly nature, which I'm sure you have.

 

Totally incorrect and uncalled for COB. If you want, I can always introduce you to the clubs in the south!

P.S. I'm glad you have seen the error of your ways re. NYSOC, the club should be dismembered - end of. I was banned from the site/club, as I am a member on other club forums, something which the NYSOC chair doesn't allow subliminally

You say you have facts but you have never met me nor those in Surrey Scoobies! As for Sussex Scoobs - I don;t even know what their website is called!

We all know NYSOC should be closed down - and in my eyes it will fold one day as more members begin to see the truth.

 

Popcorn's run out, so I thought I'd spend the time waiting for the next batch productively by asking why on earth post #24 has received an infraction? It looks to me (after several read throughs) that it is a well written, balanced argument. Okay, some people may not agree with the views expressed, but they are just that, personal views. Last time I looked at the T&C personal views were allowed, so why hit the red card button?

 

Not really, because i don't talk about myself and my car at every given opportunity.
