We got another pug tonight, 2l turbo engine!!

Didnt go out looking for one in fact i saw it in pug "parts" section but decided to put a max bid in that was alot lower than it is worth just for incase it went low and was gobsmacked to win under max bid - bargain!!

hi up 4 grabs is my pug it was originally built 4 track days but decided to use it on the road it has a peugeot 605 turbo 8v engine mated to an mi16 flywheel an clutch attached to a 16 gearbox.it has around 90k on the engine now an it pulls like a train it is fitted with a boost controller a dump valve an is running off a 2door siera cosworth intercooler the car runs excellent an the winner wont b sorry.the bad points first is it failed mot on 2 split cv boots an emissions which i now know why it needs new turbo seals as it has now started smoking on tick over.some good points are it is a j reg shell 1.6 on log book it has a rear disk axle an the leather seats r mint condition, it also had a full respray last summer an it has the small sun roof.this car is very quick an the sound is amazing i aint started it 4 ages an it fired first go today the car obviously still drives fine just smokes sat at the lights an stuff so will need the turbo sorted straight away.i may part x or swap just get in touch but i am looking 2 buy a renault 5 turbo next so need some cash towards it.

Ellie, i have .Q for ya... my Renault dirty diesel is souding a bit whirrrrry, well odd actually is it something you can have a ganders at... just either rulle in or rule out the turbo, and also is it something you do... think they're garret one on the renault diesel..

It's a commonly used tool in dazza's house, but I've never seen it used for listening before....

 

The guy who ive bought this off is trying to put us off going for it (i presume its because it went for so little ) Hes told us its not running so not fair to sell it to us!

Weve told him its not a problem and we can sort it and all of a sudden its running again now

Looks like the pug war is on then pinto and rear wheel drive could be the next step forward or a bit of cossi power that sounds better ..can't wait to see a turbo powerd pug.

dunno yet im just waiting for tony at ART to make some space in his garage for it, should be going in next week,so just hope theres nothing major wrong with it.
